The winery

If everyone knows and talks about Barolo today, it’s also thanks to Mirafiore, one of the first wineries to produce it and perhaps the first ever to export it worldwide. This estate, founded in 1878 by Emanuele Alberto, Count of Mirafiore, son of Vittorio Emanuele II and Bella Rosina, prides itself on quality, thanks in part to two of the finest crus in the entire Langa: Lazzarito and Paiagallo, located on the most beautiful hills of Serralunga and Barolo. Here, tradition has never been forgotten: even today, cement vats for fermentation and large Slavonian oak barrels for aging dictate the winemaking style of Casa E. di Mirafiore.
