Carranco

The winery

From the encounter between Borgogno and Tornatore, Carranco was born, a blend of history and experience, and authentic Etna roots. The union is the fruit of two companies that are polar opposites, yet both capable of producing great wines, pure expressions of their homeland. Borgogno, the oldest winery in Barolo, remains one of the most important and historic producers of the Langhe and Barolo. Tornatore, on the other hand, originally from Castiglione di Sicilia, remains one of the very few native Etna producers. In 2018, the desire to unite was born to narrate and celebrate the uniqueness of the still wild and uncontaminated territory of Etna under the name Carranco.
